It’s totally unethical, but if we started removing licenses from every bigot, realize that pretty soon there’d be a huge shortage of doctors. Bigotry is itself a disease, and we need to treat it using the same kind of epidemiological practices that we would treat any other disease, which includes first understanding the nature of the disease in question.
