Is entitlement mentality really all that limited to men? It is interesting however that boys seems to enjoy toying with animals. I’m not sure if it’s a cultural universal. If it is, that suggests there’s a biological underpinning unrelated to gender norms. I think curiosity might be involved, although in some cases intentional cruelty can be a sign of something else going on. Here’s an interesting study on the topic.
